Quick Vegetable Semiya

Ingredients

  • DH Roasted Semiya – 1½ cups
  • DH Turmeric Powder – ½ tbsp
  • DH Vegetable Masala – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • DH Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts – few kernels
  • Onion – 1 (chopped)
  • Carrot – 1 (chopped)
  • Beans – 8 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 1 sprig (chopped)
  • Oil – 1½ tbsp
  • Water – 2 cups
Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger – garlic paste (you can also use fresh, chopped ginger and garlic), and onions. Add cashewnuts, carrot, beans and coriander leaves. Sauté well. Add turmeric and masala powder. Pour in 2 cups of boiling water. Add salt, mix well and put in the semiya. Mix well, reduce the flame, close with a lid and cook till done.
