DH Rice Powder (Pathiri / Idiyappam Podi) β 1 cup
Fresh grated coconut β ΒΌ cup
DH Jeera β 1 tsp
Salt β to taste
Mix all the ingredients with water to make a smooth, runny batter. Heat a non-stick pan. Pour a ladle of the batter and swirl the pan quickly. Close with a lid and wait for a minute. Remove the appam slowly and gently. Serve hot with stew or curry.
