Quick Vegetable Semiya

Ingredients

  • DH Roasted Semiya – 1½ cups
  • DH Turmeric Powder – ½ tbsp
  • DH Vegetable Masala – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • DH Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts – few kernels
  • Onion – 1 (chopped)
  • Carrot – 1 (chopped)
  • Beans – 8 (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 1 sprig (chopped)
  • Oil – 1½ tbsp
  • Water – 2 cups
Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger Рgarlic paste (you can also use fresh, chopped ginger and garlic), and onions. Add cashewnuts, carrot, beans and coriander leaves. Saut̩ well. Add turmeric and masala powder. Pour in 2 cups of boiling water. Add salt, mix well and put in the semiya. Mix well, reduce the flame, close with a lid and cook till done.
